Shrimp Basket

"We got the shrimp baskets (one each of the popcorn shrimp and large shrimp baskets). Service was friendly. Food was tasty and came out quick. Nice portions for the price."

"Keisha, Amber, and Morgan rocked a Sunday lunch service in a way I’ve never seen. These ladies worked so hard to serve everyone quickly and were all so friendly. I had to tip them an extra $20 because they definitely all deserved it. Many props to the guys in the kitchen because the food was phenomenal as well. The best fried shrimp I’ve had since I’ve moved back to MS!"

"Stopped in on a Friday night. We warmly greeted and immediately seated. The place looked tidy and clean. There were several patrons and families happily eating. Three of placed orders: boom boom tacos with regular fries sea bass with mango salsa on rice, crawfish poboy with sweet potato fries, bushwacker drink, tea, diet coke. We were served rather quickly. The boom boom tacos were delicious. The crawfish poboy was overloaded with crawfish but , hey, no complaints there!!! The sea bass was better than what I had at Morton's but it was a bit dry and needed more mango salsa. But the flavor was good. We enjoyed our meal. We highly recommend this location of the Shrimp Basket! Really good food, good service, clean restaurant with clean bathrooms."

"Was looking for boom boom shrimp for the wife and found The Shrimp Basket and came across a "gem" of a place. Walked in to a very clean restaurant, not terribly busy, with friendly and fast staff. They were very helpful in answering questions about the menu and food, giving good description and sizes for the food and plates and definitely helpful in making decisions. The wife had her boom boom shrimp which she absolutely loved, I'm not really a seafood fan so I went with the chicken fingers and potatoes. And I will tell you the potatoes definitely are off the chain! I could have ate a huge bowl full of them. Very tender, seasoned great, just a great little side dish. The chicken fingers we great as well and the wife loved her boom boom shrimp. We both we very impressed with The shrimp basket, from staff to atmosphere to the food! They Definitely make you feel welcomed, and take care of you while you are there. As a nice touch they have a bell next to the door to ring if you had good food, we heard the bell ring several times while we were there and we also rung it ourselves. Highly recommend giving them a try or repeat business, I know we will when we are back in town!"
