"A great example of the seafood cuisine of the Gulf of Mexico coast with nearby New Orleans influence. Fully loaded menu with all the bayou classics. Seafood gumbo was probably the best I ever had. The blackened red fish in sauce was outstanding. The red fish was catch of the day and brought to restaurant earlier in the morning. Etufee with squash was like nothing I ever had. Incredible sweet shrimp. Local beer available with peacan flavor. Great service. Bartender very personable with great info, and stories about the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Very welcoming local culture."

"1st time here and won't be my last!! Had the Captains Ribeye with shrimp and crab, absolutely delicious steak by itself, but it balanced my seafood craving PERFECTLY! These servers are so polite it makes me want to move to MS, I just love coming to the southern areas for this kind of nice-ness. Bring cash if you want to save yourself the 3.5% CC fee, but totally worth it regardless of payment method."
