"I recently reserved a section for 8 or less which is free according to Trio. 3 days before the reservation, I was told that I had to pay a deposit to keep my reservation, which in my opinion, is their problem because that should’ve been explain upon booking AND during the second conversation when I realized they reserved the wrong date. Paid the deposit for a SECTION and was seated at a table. Not to mention we paid a deposit for all of my guests to still have to pay $20 extra at the door…what’s the purpose of the deposit? The server didn’t even know we prepaid for a bottle which leads me to think they’re very unorganized. Lastly, I do not understand how half a pitcher of cranberry juice and one can of pineapple should suffice a full table (supposed to be section) of people! After the fact, several people told me this is why they never book there and I will never book here again."

"It was a group of 7 and we were first for Sunday brunch. We got our drinks and ordered. The food was cold, the grits were not done, the French toast was not Frenching that day. Our server was good. He worked well even though the food was sent back. We asked for the manager and she took forever to handle the situation. The servers were on phones and eating at the bar. This place has so much potential to be better for it to be a high scale spot. This is the 3rd and last visit to Trio."

"The atmosphere is really nice, and the chicken and waffles were delicious. The service was lacking a little bit, but overall very nice brunch spot. They also have hookah and a DJ."

"Absolutely loved this place. Staff were fun and accommodating. Food and drinks were always done correctly and served in a timely manner. Our party was right at 100. Everyone had a great time."

"Everything was great, the atmosphere, the food, my drink "Drunk in Love" tasted really good. Only negative was the price of the drink. It was too pricey. $20. I would recommend it. And the fact it's black owned was a major plus!"
