"How is this place still in business? Zero taste and no seasoning. Turnip greens were had been frozen and just heated up with some ham hock meat with zero salt or seasoning. I don't know what kind of catfish filet they use but it sure as heck is not MS pond raised. There was no mac and cheese on Sunday buffet. The sweet potatoes were done but not sweet. They were out of coke and sprite didn't even taste like a sprite. And the amount of food they offered was nowhere near worth the price of $53 for 2 buffets let alone the taste. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT EAT HERE. Keep it moving...."

"The older black woman who check the customers in had an extremely nasty attitude. We will not be going back because of her. The older white waitress was really nice and did her job well. It was my mom and husband first and last time at Country Fishermen because of a lack in customer services. Treat people how you want to be treated is a rule of thumb and it's the word of God. The food taste better than it's ever taste."

"Very small area, too warm inside. Small selection of dishes. Also, pricey. $39 for 2/with drinks, at lunch-time. Did not stay to eat. Drive up window on side of building, making parking tight, especially exiting the restaurant grounds: only one way in and out. Will not go back. Can't comment on food taste, which may have been good."

"The food and service was very good and the restaurant was clean. Every employees that I came in contact with was pleasant. I went around 1:30pm, after lunch crowd. The buffet was very clean and the food was fresh. I loved the yams and the friend chicken was delicious. The desert bar could use some work; not much to choose from. Also didn’t like that lunch was $14 and had to pay for drink separately. That’s quite a bit for lunch even buffet especially if you don’t consume a lot of food. The only thing I saw was that they could remodel women’s bathroom. It’s very old but it was clean. Seems they also have a separate building beside the main restaurant. I didn’t notice hours but it was t open when I was there. I recommend having lunch here if in the area. It’s West Jackson but very safe!"
