"Being born on the year of the Rooster, the Rooster's was a no-brainer for me. The staff was really nice and helpful. The food was alright. We had to add the condiments to our sandwiches. We parked at the Post Office across the street from the restaurant. The restaurant was clean and the tables were spread out, so there was a lot of room between the tables. Oh, the onion rings were really delicious."

"I haven’t even finished my dinner and had to stop to leave this review. This place is great!!! The customer service is second to none, the country fried steak, Mac and cheese , and green beans are incredible. Don’t miss out, come get some for yourself and check it out."

"Fantastic chicken sandwich and fries. Their bread is homemade (super fresh) and the cutlets were thin and flavorful. Would recommend for some good grub!"

"I've recently been encouraging my 9yo daughter to speak more, so I let her order her own meal. The waitress was very patient and kind and even gave my daughter props for ordering her own food. We didn't have to wait long for our food and they checked in on us to make sure we were OK. I can't get that kind of service anywhere else these days so it was very appreciated."

"Rooster's has some of the best chicken in the Jackson area. One of my favorites is the Smothered Chicken and Grits. I have had many items off of the menu, and all have been great. The hot hot chicken sandwich served slider style is fantastic as well. If you hit them up right at noon, you may have a longer wait, but it's well worth it."
