"Was told when I arrived that the car I reserved and paid for online was not available, during that time my card was then charged another $250 for a car they did not have! Mind you I was talking to a woman over the phone because the man behind the counter said he was new and didn’t know what to do. After they charged my card again for no car I was told to call the 1800 number to get a refund! I was told by the guy that online will reflect that they do have cars even when they don’t which is so misleading. The whole experience was very frustrating."

"HORRIBLE!!! ZERO STARS!!! Paid in full for a car almost a month before leaving for vaca. Arrived to pick up our car and was told there were no cars. (Why even make reservations ??) We were told to go to the airport to pick up one there. Drove all the way to the airport and was told they didn’t honor reservation’s made at the Budget in Flowood. She actually said “I’ve told them to stop sending people over here!” We did manage to get a refund but lesson learned, won’t ever go back to Budget in Flowood. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!"

"Worst experience ever! arrived in Jackson Mississippi and the reservation I had made was not available, Three other people went to the counter at about the same time, and they we also left with out vehicles and not only that but they charged me and have not refunded me yet and its been a week. they overbooked and left me stranded at the air port. Apparently, this happens on a regular basis. Two different locals told me this was common when I was waiting for an Uber. Went through enterprise, and the one in flowood was amazing, even brought me a car, and it was out of the way, I'll stick with them going forward."

"Terrible!! We rented a car thru fast break, as we always have done in the past with my debit card. When I arrived, they said we need a CC which I did not have room on. Needless to say, no car but THEY TOOK the money out of my acct. And said it would be refunded within 7-10 business days. Now I can't offered to rent a car with another vendor. Unbelieveable!!"

"Very poor customer service both at the location and on the phone to customer service. Arrived to pickup the car I rented. The car was dirty, it had clothes and shoes from the previous renter. The car was dirty and when you started it there were several alerts including the oil gauge. When I told the rep she said it was all fine. I told her it wasn't , I rented a car and expected to have a clean and maintained car. I asked if she had another one which she said she did not. I asked if another location might have something, she told me I could cancel my reservation and call and make another one. I told her I wanted à refund and she said I would have to call customer service. I called while there, explained the issue. The rep said he couldn't get me another car but could give me $30 off. I told him I didn't want $30 off. I wanted the car that I paid for to be what was promised. He did not try to look for another car at another location, he just told me there was nothing else he could do. I told him I wanted a refund. He said a refund would be issued in 3-7 days. I will not use Budget again."
