"The Cashier was very helpful and friendly. Everyone has their own style that being said the Sandles,Dress Shoes were Great and The purses and Wallets and A variety of Socks. Assesories as well, they didn't have the Tennis shoes I had hoped to get, but I found a pair and at their prices !!! Who could complain I decided on a pair of U S Polo's I only paid $20 for them...shout out to the Cashier .thanks for your genuine kindness."

"The ladies was good by offering help. That was the second times being in there in the same day. However, my husband was with me the 2nd time. When it was my mom and I no help offered. I miss Payless Shoe store. Be kind at all times regardless of male/female. God LOVES us all."

"They close at 8pm. I went yesterday and the associate wouldn’t let me in at 7:30pm saying they are closed. All I had was an exchange on the exact same item. I just needed a different size. Terrible."

"I stopped by this store on 7/24/21 on my way to Gulf Shores. We originally stopped because one person in our group still needed some flip flops. I went inside thinking I could use the restroom. They didn’t have one for public use. So I started looking at the shoes waiting for my friend to find her shoes. I found a pair of white high top converse that I really liked. I was near the back of the store. A black lady was walking by, on her way through the back door. I said ma’am can I get the other shoe. They only had one of those on the floor. She turned and looked at me and said, “ I will give you the other shoe after you pay”! I was shocked…I began to tell her about the multiple surgeries on my feet and explaining why I need to try them on first. She turned and walked though the door. I was pretty mad at this point. I just know that’s not how it works in Texas… or in customer service all together. Most employees go the length to make a sale. Those were $70 shoes. So I walked up to the same lady and asked her for corporates number. She asked me what my problem was. I told her I felt very disrespected as a customer and wanted to report the store. She still stood her ground and said their store policy is to only give the other shoe to the customer after they are paid for in full. I felt she was being lazy and just didn’t want to get the shoes or because I am gay. Who knows? The blatant disrespect was uncalled for. She did try to assist me at that point and I told her I didn’t want to spend any of my money in her store. My friend however kept looking and made a purchase. The whole time we were waiting for her to find what she needed.. the lady was mouthing things to another associate working that day. Also very unprofessional. Her initials on the receipt that day was KL. I called a 1800number to complain, but never heard back. Spend your money somewhere else."
