"Staff was nice and helpful."
"Hard to find stuff. One of the employees was cussing. They need to do employees training. Maybe COVID-19 has people stressed. Give them hazard pay maybe the customer service would improve."
"As far as the store itself and the availability of supplies, this store keep the majority of what one could utilize in stock. But management and her employee ( there's always only one person available at check out) could be trained better. Especially when it comes to voiding a transaction and taking partial payments. The cashier took a payment that was part cash and part debit card. The caah portion took the debit card did not because I forgot that I the card was manually turned off. After that one attempt I went to get my phone and turned the card on. The cashier or her manager was unknowledgeable on what portion the cash had paid for, and what portion of items that totaled ($6.01) had not been paid for ,so they would not void the transaction neither would they allow me to try the card again. Instead they told me they could only accept cash. At this point the line was getting held up, and because I did not have any cash only my card I asked could she take the portion off of the transaction that the card did not cover, so that I could go on about my day and pick up the items from another store. The manager and employee was unknowledgeable on how to do that. So at this point customers were getting frustrated and asked could they use their card to complete the transaction. The manager and cashier said it couldn't be done ... And that another card will not do it it has to be completed in cash. At this point I'm like just void the transaction. They said they could not be done they must have the cash. Thankfully a customer assisted me with the cash portion ($6.01) because I only had my card which had money on there, but the cashier or manager did not allow me to try the card again. Bottom line is there should to be more training done at the cash register, and possibly with the manager so that she can assist when these things occur. Everyone doesn't always have cash, some people will have to try different cards and partial payments. One option of payment should not be accepted if everything is functioning correct and everyone is knowledgeable on how to complete all transactions. Neither had a pleasant attitude either so that didn't help."
"The manager is very nasty and unprofessional. She refused to take back a pair of pants that were small. I had the receipt and had purchased them 5 days ago. She stated since the tag had been removed it was a no go. I contacted corporate and they stated as long as I had the receipt it was fine. They even called the store while I was on hold, and the manager lied and stated the pants were badly worn and she couldn't read the receipt. Corporate told her she was wrong and she needed to accept the exchange. This so called maggot of a manager needs to be fired. She was very rude and unprofessional, and didn't want to be bothered.....she never even looked at receipt."
"The Asst. Manager is very unprofessional towards certain customers. I attempted to return an item, she refused to accept it or issue a store credit to me. I have shopped at Family Dollar for years and I've never been treated with such disrespect from an employer."
