"I was told I needed a procedure. I explained before I would agree to having this work done I would need to know the cost. I waited, the office manager came in and explained she checked with my insurance company. She told me total cost along with a breakdown of what the insurance would pay and what my cost would be . Based on that information I agreed to have the procedure done. I paid my portion and 6 months after I get a bill for about another $400.00. I called for an explanation and was told they were sorry for the miscommunication but the insurance refused that portion and I am responsible. My issue is, it was presented as a pre-approval from my insurance company and what you quoted me was my final bill which was what I based my decision to have the procedure. I should have been told this was only an estimate which would have allowed me to make a different decision . Now left with a bill of almost $400.00 and being told sorry for the miscommunication . I believe it was misleading not miscommunication. After receiving their reply I called back only to be told that it was a automatic response"
