"Ladies watch out!!! Sent my wife to have my alternator checked for a bad bearing because of a noise I was hearing. They told her they would "check it out". Well a day later they call and say it is ready. Well they don't tell her anything that was wrong and they hand her a spray painted alternator and say they "rebuilt" it. Well the noise turned out to be a water pump, the alternator was fine. So I was charged a full rebuild and the alternator they swapped me is barely charging. Mine was charging fine so I know they must have swapped my factory one for the ratty spray painted one I ended up with. Well they didn't give her a receipt or anything so now I'm out $100 and now have a bad alternator. I only wanted my other one checked out... My wife was just trying to help me with my car but because they took advantage of her not knowing about cars she feels like she made things worse. I told her it's ok, there are crooked people everywhere. I would love to have MY working alternator back. Watch out, and don't let them get you too."
