The Froghead Grill

"In town visiting Mississippi College needed to grab lunch and the Froghead Grill was close and had great reviews. It did not disappoint. It is a order at the counter and they will bring your food to you place. We were the first customers of the day so we had the place to ourselves for about 10 min, then it started to really fill up. Ordered gumbo, shrimp po boy, and chicken salad as my friend is not a Cajun food fan. Food was great. Had just the right amount of crunch to the po boy had a great flavor. Gumbo was not super spicy had a great dark roux. My son enjoyed his so much that I gave him most of mine as my sandwich was really filling. Loved the plastic reusable cup/souvenir of our visit. There was always a worker circulating around the restaurant and asking if everything was ok or if anything was needed. I highly recommend The Froghead Grill if you are in the area and are looking for some great food."

"This is such a great restaurant! Visited here when staying in town for the night, and I was SO impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the taste of the food - especially the cheeseburger. They seem to be a bit understaff - or perhaps just running slow - otherwise, would have 100% been 5 stars!"

"The staff answered all of our questions, made recommendations, and were very friendly. All of our food, hands down was some of the best we have ever had (Red Beans and Rice and Tyrone’s Bread Pudding). Great place to sit down for lunch and take a break from traveling to stretch your legs. Restrooms could use an update but do not let that deter you from making a stop."

"Had a very enjoyable experience here. We were made to feel very welcome and the food was delicious. I had a spicy chicken wrap, Froggy Wrap, and it was so yummy with just enough spice and flavor. "Got in to town a bit late, staying at a nearby hotel. Didn't really feel like anything that we were seeing g for chains, and stumbled across Froghead Grill. So glad we did. Atmosphere is super cool if you even remotely like frogs (not to eat). If you love them then this is your place. We tried a number of things and everything was amazing. Overall I have to HIGHLY SUGGEST the PHD "burger" but with the crispy chicken. Wow! The flavors are awesome. The sauce was amazing. Simply perfect. Second, order the sweet potato fries. They come with a dusting of confectioner's sugar and a sweet sauce that could top a cinnamon roll. The kids all got wraps and said they were great. One got bread pudding as a side and loved it. I dont know when I'll be back to Clinton, but I will be stopping again. If you live in the area, consider yourself lucky and frequent this establishment and support your local business."
