Dollar General

"Can't get through the aisles due to carts and merchandise all the time! Shelves are always empty and they always only have 1 cashier. It doesn't matter if the line goes all the way down an aisle no one comes to help the cashier. I walked out and left my buggy today!!!"

"I came from Cleveland to grab a movie from the red box (only box that had the movie I've really been wanting to see lol) and figured I would go inside since I was there and I'm so glad I did! The employees were super sweet and helpful the store was very clean and organized and even though you could tell their truck came in today they still took the time to personally help an elderly lady shop for her items. It melted my heart to see such kindness from a very busy store clerk. I will definitely make that drive to Leland again even though I pass 2 stores in Cleveland and one in Shaw."

"Looking for an item, asked the manger and was told they were out. Then she proceeded to tell me the store couldn't keep it stocked because this one person always came in and bought them out. I said then that should tell you to order more & she said they couldn't. I told her then they were basicly ordering for that one person. I work in Greenville but try to shop in my town Leland. This person's work attire was very unprofessional. Very short red shorts not attire for a store clerk manager. It just shows to get things done before you come home and don't shop local."

"For the past 2 weeks, every night I go to Dollar General between 9:30-10 they are closed when clearly the sign on the door says open til 10p.m. I shop at this DG often because my home is less than a mile up the street. It’s sad to say I will rather go to Walmart in Indianola which is 15 min from me than to Shop here. They get mad when they see me coming in after 9 and I’m sick of having to deal with grown working people attitudes."
