Enterprise Rent-A-Car

"My nephew went to pick up a rental car that the insurance was supposed to have reserved for him last week and as of this morning, 11/29/2023, they still do not have a car ready or available for him. Enterprise Rental in Vicksburg, MS is a joke. I have had similar dealings with this business and was told that it would be a week or so before they might have a vehicle. By that time, I would have mine own back out of the shop. This place is nothing but a run around."

"Just landed at the airport in Jackson, MS at 9:45pm. I made reservations about 3 weeks ago, checked in through the link that was emailed to me when we landed in Charlotte only to get here to find out they have no car for me. So now my wife and I are stranded at the airport about 1.5 hours away from our final destination. Thanks Enterprise for nothing!"

"Enterprise rental car service in Vicksburg Ms. is by far the worst rental service I have ever encountered. The female manager and 3 other female employees are hurting this busines. The bad attitudes are unnecessary. If she trained these employees she trained them well but wrong. I will never enter this facility again. Thanks but no thanks."

"TL;DR: Enterprise is terrible. I do not recommend. 0 stars. A few weeks ago, a tree limb fell on my car, leaving me without a vehicle. My insurance company is supposed to cover the cost of a rental, up to $30 a day for 30 days. According to my insurance agent, they recently renegotiated this deal to account for rising costs (they previously only covered $20 a day); however, Enterprise raised their prices again shortly after. Due to this, even renting an economy car, the cheapest Enterprise offers, will be $2 to $3 a day in addition to what my insurance covers. It doesn’t sound like much, but with a 30 day rental that is $60-$90 for a service that I already pay my insurance every month to have. I was on a business trip at the time of the accident and did not require a vehicle until I returned the following week, but I called ahead anyway and scheduled an appointment at the Vicksburg, MS location, specifying that I only wanted an economy vehicle. But the following week when I came to Enterprise, they informed me that they only had SUV’s available and the best price they could give me was the Full Size, which for me was an additional $8 a day, plus tax. At over $240 for the full 30 days, I informed the representative that I simply could not afford to spend that much at this time, to which he assured me that I could trade the SUV for an Economy car the following day at any location. So, I took the vehicle with the intention of doing just that. However, the next day when I called the Vicksburg, Brandon, Richland, and Clinton locations they all told me the exact same thing, “No economy cars available.” I wound up driving the SUV for a week, calling these locations every day and receiving the same answer every day. I will add that the car I was given was terrible. It was a Dodge Journey with terrible gas mileage and the inexplicable quality of being huge on the outside and cramped on the inside. It reeked of cigarette smoke, regardless of the nicotine stained “No Smoking” stickers on every available service. And in a feat of incompetence, Enterprise’s repairmen had somehow managed to install the Reverse camera upside-down, rendering it useless at best and a dangerous distraction at worst. After suffering with this claptrap for a week, I was able to borrow a vehicle from my brother and return this money pit which wound up costing me over $60 for the week. Recall that that is what I would have paid for an economy over the course of a full month!! In summary, I am completely dissatisfied with Enterprise’s prices, customer service, and vehicles. Their business practices are predatory, and their employees are dishonest and uncooperative. I have absolutely no intention of ever using their service again and have already filed a complaint with my insurance company."

"My recent rental experience was very positive. Bobbie was the customer service representative on duty the day I picked up the rental. She handled each costumer interaction professionally and was very friendly. She was juggling a lot of balls and made it look easy. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! The vehicle I received was satisfactory."
