"Pretty good food and decent service. It was a little weird experience that night. Asked for beef and chicken nachos and add shrimp.. little miss communication, we only got shrimp tacos. Had to ask for water several times. I think sometimes the miscommunication or language barrier is an excuse.. over all it was ok. Would go back."

"Ordered crispy taco plate with Chili Relleno(which literally means stuffed pepper in Spanish). What came out was this cheese slop that had what looked like canned peppers in it. Definitely not a stuffed pepper. They also threw in a flavorless ground beef burrito that reminded of what would happen if you put dog food in a tortilla. They had okay frozen margaritas but a rude waitress so I can't give this place more than 1 star. Gross food but would be good place to come get drinks. Just make sure to give them instructions if you order something common."

"We were visiting the area and decided to go here without looking at the reviews and we absolutely loved it. Staff, service and food were all great. Good food portions, tasty and good prices. We went with our 4 y/o daughter and they gave us a table towards the very back and I think they did it on purpose because of the smoking. We did not smell anything. I had the Chimichangas (1 chicken 1 beef). Definitely recommend the place."

"Went to treat myself to a tasty dinner after a successful Regional visit at my store! Shrimp Quesadilla, beans, rice & fresh guacamole! It was delicious and full of flavor. The shrimp are on the larger side & El Sombrero serves large portions! It took a while to get a waitress, but I wasn't in a huge rush. The restaurant is huge on the inside and the building is just as massive on the outside. I love the neon lights on the outside of the building at night. The waitstaff were quite kind also. I'm sure I'll be back!"

"Really beautifully decorated restaurant. We got the fajita potato with chicken and the salsa special with beef. Both were good but the HUGE potato was the wow factor. I don't like Mexican fare but went there as a favor to my husband. I'd go back. Very nice sized portions."
