Reviews
"A quick dine-in or take out in McGehee. I was surprised at the variety on the menu. I could see a bunch of teenagers having a good time here. Add a jukebox and it would be like a 'Happy Days' hangout."
"Sorry, not my kind of place. Stopped because a reviewer raved about the burger and fries. Everything appears to have come out of the freezer, consistency of the burger was weird, food was not good and there was no one waiting tables. Also smells bad and the most disgusting bathroom I have ever seen in a restaurant."
"Good biscuits and gravy. Good portions for the price. I stopped in again today. I will say it was late on Sunday afternoon. However it's hard to mess up a cheese burger. I also ended up paying $15, because I got tater tots with cheese. Long way from $7.99. I will say the portion was enough for 3. It's hit or miss for me."
"Stopped here because of the reviews but wasn't good. I asked the lady what she recommended and she said the burgers were good that that is what she gets. I asked for the double cheese burger and got a single patty burger. So I said, ok then I'll just get charged 7.99 plus tax since they have a special with a cheeseburger, fries, and a drink for 7.99. She didn't respect the special because I got Cajun fries, which she didn't tell me were extra and ended up paying 12.99. The burger wasn't that great. The fries were good. I had to throw away their tea because it tasted bad and they ran out of diet Dr. Pepper, so I settled for Diet coke. I wouldn't recommend it."
"It has an unassuming location, an old gas station. The inside is still half a convenient store; beer and cigarettes and gum and such for sale. The food, however, is top notch. We stopped by on a road trip the sweet tea is on point and like ambrosia to a deprived northerner. The burgers are delicious diner-style complete with butter toasted buns and the Philly cheese was delicious also. Regional sides like fried pickles and corn nuggets were very satisfying. The chicken sandwich seemed like they took chicken breast, pounded it and breaded before frying. It was everything you could ask for flavor-wise in a funky and ultimately charming local package. Friendly guests offered conversation and anecdotes to road weary self and they seemed to enjoy their breakfast dishes they ordered. I would absolutely stop by again. Dine in or get it to go-- you will be satisfied. (I just cut the sandwiches in half myself, but I didn't ask them to. I am sure they would if you wanted.)"
