"I am an extremely nervous patient who neglected seeing a dentist, because of the anxiety. I needed a cavity filled and Dr. Weeks made me feel like I could trust him. It took several visits, and a lot of money, for exams, x-rays, and a cleaning before he would schedule the filling. He said it was a slight cavity and needed a simple drill and fill. After he got me numbed up, he drilled half my tooth away and did a composite bonding without telling me. Had I known what he was about to do, I would have stopped him. He had to stop in the middle of the procedure to give me another shot of lidocaine, because the drill was hurting. Then, he sent me home without any pain medication and my tooth throbbed for days. I went back for 2 more painful cleanings with his dental hygienist before he started pushing me towards braces, caps, crowns and all sorts of unnecessary work. I told him that I didn't have much money, so I just needed what was absolutely necessary at the moment. Apparently, this struck a nerve, because he suggested that I return to school and get a better job with dental insurance so I could afford his services. That was my last visit with him or any dentist. He completely destroyed any trust that I may have had for the dental profession."
