"Crystal clear water, giant dunes on a lake shore. A short loop around Hall Lake takes you through the woods across the dune and back to the parking area through the woods."
"Beautiful place for a hike around the lake or take kids swimming or sand boarding down the big sand hill..."
"Beautiful lake, clear water great for swimming. Away, not visibly from highway 101. Hard to find/assess and parking is a nightmare if few people are visiting at the same time. Well worth it at the end once you're settled."

"Such a beautiful lake. Recently went while on a trip to Lakeside and we were beyond impressed. The water was warm enough to swim for a long duration, a nice surprise even in August. Three sides of the lake are surrounded by beautiful trees and the other side if right on the sand dunes, making for a lovely beachy area. The sand dune makes for quite the climb but it was totally worth it, as you can see the ocean and expansive dunes from the top. Can't wait to make a return visit. Best lake I've EVER been to, Oregon or otherwise."
