"Perfect little hiking area with a various length trails. Decently maintained. Might be a bit a bit hard for kids, but it was doable for my active spouse who has arthritis. Took Tiki trail. Brought the dog. No “viewpoint” but a nice view of the creek from above. The swimming area was empty when we stopped by. No dogs allowed in there, but my husband said the water is “warm creek” temp. Not far from town but we didn’t hear much road noise except the occasional car on the park route. Definitely worth the $5 day fee. Bring cash. The digital machine just kept saying “initializing system.” But the park was wonderful and really big. Been up past here with the four wheelers to ride ages ago. Plan on doing so again soon. The Cascade View area up the road has a nice “summit” as well."
"This is a beautiful and quiet park. The trees shade the creek by the late afternoon which is great during the heat of the summer. The creek is pretty shallow so I feel safe having my children play in it. There are several flat paved paths around the park that are stroller friendly. The forest is old and well maintained so it's a gorgeous nature walk that everyone enjoys."
"What a National Park . There is something for everyone to do . The views are breathtaking. The trails are perfect. The Rangers . Very helpful. You will enjoy your day at this park."
"This park is amazing! Trails! Sand volleyball, sandy beach to the water. Has a fun creek to play in. There are 2 giant shelters with fireplaces and a ton of picnic tables. There's a field big enough for any sports, a paved path, and tons of picnic areas. There is also lots of shade of desired."
