"Many blue hued creatures spotted near the falls on this lovely March day."
"Lovely little hiking area containing about 1 mi of trail (2 mi roundtrip) with 2 waterfalls. One at the beginning (Alsea Falls) and one at the end (Green Peak Falls). Short drive from Monroe, road is well paved, and access in is decent. There is a day use fee if you dont have a pass, but it's just $5. What more could you ask for? Well, more trails, maybe--it's a nice area. Just gotta be careful with the narrow muddy trails, though!"
"Beautiful little hike to the falls. There's a new fresh hike that we started then realized I didn't feel comfortable with little kids to take the hike with them. If your a person that hikes then it's perfect but not for little kids."
"Had an amazing day Hiking Alsea Falls this afternoon with my hiking buddy from McMinnville Oregon. This hike was Short but packed a lot of punch and the white water combined with the falling snow was almost magical. There are several camp sites and restrooms and an abundance of beautiful scenery to keep you in the moment making it easier to leave the world behind just for a moment. I'd definitely check out this beautiful location and forget about life for a while...."
"Alsea Falls Recreational Area is a Day Use park to view the Falls, with parking , ($5 Day Use fee), that has picnic tables and hiking trails to the Alsea Falls, and the trails connect to the Alsea Falls Campground to the South and Hubert H McBee Campground and Green Peak Falls to the North of this area. Be very careful at the top of Alsea Falls, as it is not fenced off and could be a dangerous situation for children, pets and people not stable on their feet! Stay on the trail to the bridge at the bottom of the Falls to get the full photo views! Very beautiful!"
