Reviews
"Back side closed til next year but u can walk in and hike with plenty of privacy. Trails over grown the "cool" way:)"
"Like others- I want to give it an awful review to keep this place low key; but truth is I love this place!!! My only 2 recommendations are as follows. 1- bring air freshener for the bathrooms 2- bring water shoes Best place ever for all ages camping. Plenty of trails, quiet and swimming waterways. 10/10 for sure."
"I really wanted to rate this place horribly to keep it a hidden gem/secret, but I just can't do that. This is an absolutely beautiful campsite. I was worried about other reviews because of the mentioned "overgrowth." I felt that the campsites were well maintained and that the foliage gave us a good amount of seclusion and privacy. The camp host was both friendly and knowledgeable. There's a beautiful swimming hole and trails along the river. We camped with ebikes and were able to explore the surrounding roads and even stumbled across a random little grave site from the 1800s. The roads had a good amount of tree canopy to protect us from the sun and keep us cool from the heat. I saw my first crawdads ever, and honestly, the whole experience was magical. 10/10 recommend, ans bring water shoes!!!"
"Was a great place to camp, some road noise on the mountain road leading to the campground, but very beautiful area, keep a eye out for camel crickets they are awesome, biggest cricket I've ever seen, 100% harmless. Also go checkout the nearby pioneer cemetery. Very peaceful place."
"Second time being at Whittaker Creek and I love it! The camp hosts are an amazing couple who do an excellent job making sure things run smoothly and that visitors are taken care of. Took this second trip back in September and finally remembered to give a review. This is an amazing place to bring yourself, family, friends, or have a romantic time away. I highly recommend coming here, experiencing all of what Oregon has to offer has been amazing and I can't wait to experience more! It's beautiful because you really get to see all the beauty and being out in nature is a recharge we can all use, especially now. There are so many campsites and I can't wait to explore more once the weather let's up and Spring and Summer Start. You won't regret coming here and I hope you all enjoy it as much as me and my family do β€"
