"We were visiting the area and went here to enjoy the Christmas Ships. The parking lot was tiny and cars were double parked in single spaces. The view was beautiful and even though we expected more boats, the 10 or so that were there came by the bank a couple of times, yelled Merry Christmas and waved. It was a fun 20 minute adventure."
"Beautiful view of Elk Rock Island and the trolly trail is close by. Walk to town easily and explore excellent restaurants and shops. Boat launch is easy for kayaks and paddle boards and steps leading to a nice beach are close to the parking lot on the north side of the lot. Very dog friendly for swimming. Convenient restroom as well."

"Great community-based use of space. Good vantage for watching the Christmas Ships, barrels with fires going, a very festive atmosphere. The river is lovely there as well."
