About Us
Cascadia State Park, located at 48241 Cascadia Drive in Cascadia, Oregon, is a beautiful park situated at the confluence of Soda Creek and the South Santiam River. With a rich native American and pioneer history, this park is set within the lush rainforest of western Oregon.
The park offers thirteen first-come, first-served campsites and ten reservable sites, making it a great spot for a peaceful getaway. The campground, group tent sites, and east picnic area are open from the beginning of May to the end of September, while the west picnic area is open year-round.
Visitors can enjoy a three-quarter mile trail leading to the stunning Soda Creek Falls, as well as a newer trail that takes you through historic Douglas-fir trees along the South Santiam River, perfect for fishing and swimming. The park also features visible ruts from the historic Santiam Wagon Road, used as a military route in the 1800s.
Linn County Parks, which operates Cascadia State Park, offers a variety of family-friendly parks, fishing, boating, camping, museums, and historic sites. With hiking trails, waterfalls, covered bridges, and swimming areas, there is something for everyone to enjoy at the 30 parks managed by Linn County Parks.

"Came here the last 2 years for a camping trip with friends. It’s been great and there’s lots of fun scenery to explore. The first photo is a great swimming spot directly under the entry bridge if you climb over on the left(if you’re facing the main road) side of the bridge and there’s a pretty easy path down there for anyone who isn’t out of shape."

"Went to a memorial in this park. Was a beautiful place to have had it, as the family is local and visit it quite often. I could sit and just be mesmerized by the beauty and the sound of the river."
"Great hike/ trail walk for kids! Also great for a jogging stroller or wagon. My three year old did great. Amazing swimming spot, great for dogs (on leash). Gross pit toilets is my only complaint lol"
