"Whales sometimes swim within 100' of rocks when tide is high and sea is calm. If you spot whales in Whale Cove (north), take the short walk, past the restroom, to the viewing platform (NON ADA)."
"Like most of the Oregon State Scenic areas we visited on the coast, the restrooms needed servicing but the views were fantastic! We saw at least six whales hanging out in the kelp. We also appreciate the free parking and interpretive signage."
"Scenic wayside area with beautiful views. I could sit here all day, watch for whales, and listen to the ocean crash into the rocky shore. A really nice place for people with mobility concerns to enjoy an all around amazing view. As a bonus there are very clean bathroom facilities located on site."
