"We had a major project that included revamping our entire back yard. The project was too large for us to even imagine how to make it all work and look beautiful as well. Michael and the team at Drake's were the perfect fit for our landscaping remodel. From the beginning meeting to the recent plant replacement, Michael was there to help us with every step. Excavation of failing retaining wall, construction of the new walls, building a small deck, installing lawn, fencing, gravel pathways, irrigation, drainage and the plants. We chose Drake's so they would manage all of the disparate parts of the project. They worked well with their subs, and the subs did quality work. Their staff gardeners treated the plants as if they were their own. So - about the plants - the quality was excellent. Michael was there to aid in getting everything placed properly and gave us guidance on how to care for them. We even added a native wildflower section in the wild part of our yard. This was the first summer everything was blooming and it was spectacular. The entire garden brings pollinators from all around. Flowers bloom and open at different times throughout the days and through the seasons. It has really added to our enjoyment of the property. The design turned out to look very similar to the spec photos he provided with the plan. Several elements he added make the space feel inviting. A spot for a bench, raised garden beds, stately Calamagrostis blowing in the wind...it's really something. We are enjoying our yard so much more than we ever imagined. "We had drake’s do design and install of outdoor lighting throughout our front and backyard, planting plans and replanting of front and backyard, and graveling and reshaping our pathway. The plans Tim made were fantastic and created with our exact specifications and aesthetic in mind. We have dogs and he was able to find us beautiful and dog safe plants for our backyard. All details and scheduling were handled quickly with their project manager and last minute change orders we added were not a problem. Would absolutely recommend and use them again for the future!"

"The challenge: At a time of significant labor shortages and high demand, would our relatively modest landscape refresh project truly receive the attention necessary to achieve a high-quality outcome, on time, and at a reasonable budget? And Lee nailed it in dialing in our rather complete irrigation system refit. After looking at the portfolio of amazing landscape design work imagined and installed by the Drake’s 7 Dees team, we wondered if our humble project was the right “fit” for them. In the end, we would have never known the difference as they treated us as if our project were the most important one on their list.
