"It’s unfortunate that a rude voicemail cancels out what we thought was a great tax service. A good reminder to hang up the phone before you talk about clients or just keep it to yourself. After receiving a confusing letter identifying options for new rates, we sent an email asking for clarification. I appreciate the quick email answering our question but it’s what happened after that was uncalled for. Instead of hanging up they said to a coworker that we need to “suck up the fees” and that they have been “babying” us for years and we can find someone else to do our taxes. Among other rude comments. I called back to let them know that I heard what she said and they apologized. However, it’s that kind of unprofessionalism that will actually lead us to take our business elsewhere. They aren’t losing much business from us but I hope this is a reminder to be kind and professional."
