About the Business
The Bonnie L. "Rude staff. Not helpful. Called for help with an injured cat And was tolde they dont do cats and that it was my problem. To make arrangements to ends its suffering. They charge dog owners hundreds of dollars to get pets back"
"Called about a small dog that jumped out of a car parked at Beaverton Costco and was running loose on the bank of the THPRD trails. They wanted ALL my PERSONAL info, as in name, number, address etc and refused to send anyone out unless I disclosed all MY information! It's not my dog, I just didn't want to see it get hit! My personal info is not your business, do your job and round up animal control. Very sad for that puppy and whatever outcome came of their failure to provide assistance."
"Staff was very helpful and answered all my questions. Looked up cats in the facility as well as reports that came in from citizens that were holding onto the animal. Also looked up all deceased cats for me. Have good advice on what to do to find our cat. Been trying all the things. But cat still missing. Hopefully someone will get my car chip checked and I get a contract, instead of just assuming she is a stray and keeping her. Thanks BLH's!!"
"I'm only reviewing Bonnie Hays's Licensing program. I own 2 dogs & both for new dog enrollment and license renewal, the process is very straight forward and, if anything, a bit too trusting - that they don't require you to upload proof of Rabies vaccination or sterilization. They send the license tags in the mail a few days later, and they remind you when its time to renew your license. I do have 2 suggestions to improve service: 1) Similar to a lost child program, I'd love it if Bonnie Hays allowed you to upload pictures of your dogs & cats as well as enroll cats on their site, not just dogs. My cats are microchipped, and although they're indoor only, if they ever ended up at Bonnie for some reason, it would be a lot easier to reunite us if they had our cats already in their system. 2) A lot of the negative reviews of Bonnie are people that do not understand what a state(?) or county run animal shelter can and cannot do, that housing & feeding stray animals costs money & what is or is not an animal abuse case that would allow them to enter people's private property to remove animals. I think adding to their FAQ on their website might help some."
