"Spoke with Mike about what was best for my company and received a great response when I was writing the check.... fast forward to when I went back months later wondering where my returns where (this was 2019 and pre-covid) he acted as if it was my fault that returns weren’t done before the deadline and I had given him multiple months advance with my information. I wouldn’t be mad if he had actually just explained what was going on rather than just dodging calls and then having the shortest possible fuse when it came to talking with clients when I eventually got a hold of him. Shouldn’t have followed the recommendation from my financial planner to come here (I guess the client’s interest is not always best)."

"DO NOT USE! For years I've used Michael Gavaza to do my taxes but this year the whole operation sucks. He put me off for 2 months telling me that my returns would be two weeks away. Then he goes on vacation for another 2 weeks. Then his whole attitude changes towards it. Tells me if I don't like it to go somewhere else. I keep asking for updates and met with no emails and then emails of attitude. Fast forward two and a half months after he said he was going to do it and then he tells me that I would have to pay him in full before he gives them to me and they were also in review.
