"I have woke up daily for years with a headache. Sometimes, it would only take 5 minutes and if I was lucky, I could go half an hour before it started. But, rest assured the headache was coming. I haven't been able to look at a flat screen since 2011 without getting a headache. This included TV's, computer monitors, and even smart phones. I'm the guy still carrying a flip phone. When I had my initial phone conversation with Dr Zielinski, I told him I got headaches looking at flat screens, he immediately said that is a symptom, not the cause. I have been to a dozen or so "vision" doctors and always told them it was something going on in my right ear. Now, finally! someone had the answers and could give me some relief. I spent an entire week doing intensive therapy with at least 9 staff members, led by Dr Nick McCrory. What an experience! For out of towner's, they have a plan that starts on Monday morning, ends on Friday afternoon, and you fly home. Nick and the crew were helpful, insightful, caring, and good at what they are doing. As testament to my success, I am writing this review on a computer 10 days after coming home and still have success! Check them out and see if your condition is one they can help you with. "I came to NW functional neurology after 3 years of dealing with an unexplained movement disorder. I had vertigo for months, clumsiness, balance issues, not feeling the connection to my legs or tongue, etc. After numerous medical appointments, vestibular therapy and my own efforts, I became functional but I wanted so badly to feel normal and maybe even graceful again.
