"I had the displeasure of meeting Darrin today where he refused my simple tax return after initially giving me the green light to sign all the necessary paperwork for handing over my taxes. After glancing at the forms from my government job (I work in the school system), Darrin made a bizarre comment about my name and then suddenly he followed up with, “We are too busy, I cannot file your taxes,” as he pried the sign-over paperwork he just gave me from my hands. I asked him if he was confusing me for someone else and he said “no.” Confused and bewildered by the sudden rudeness and refusal, I left. Does any of that story make sense? No? It didn’t make sense to me either. Especially bearing in mind my family has been filing with Darrins business for years. I myself filed a simple tax return with Darrin’s business last year, just as I was going to this year. It’s also worth mentioning I don’t have any missing dues owed to Darrin, and I brought the previous year’s tax filings with me. I don’t have any confusing deductions or complications and ALL of my income comes exclusively from my government job. So, be warned. I advise anyone who sees this review stay as far away from Darrin and his business as possible. The level of disrespect, disdain and disloyalty he demonstrated today made me realize the validity of his 1 star reviews. And Darrin if you see this, thank you for saving me all future 40 minute drives I was making to your business just because you came recommended by my family, you shady scumbag"

"Very Disappointed If there was 0 I would rate that! Absolutely worst service I've ever encountered! I have had a meeting scheduled since November when we had our first phone meeting that he was paid for as well as for our future meeting to file my taxes, never received a confirmation or any paperwork to fill out. I show up was left to have a "meet" in the lobby about personal information, I filled out paperwork and when I asked the secretary if I would be meeting with him in an office, she snapped back they didn't have my documents ( the ones I brought with me and just gave to them) Darren then came out and told me that he no longer had time to file my taxes. This is after I sent all my social security #s and personal information and all tax documents and he said back in November that he was able to take me on and do my taxes. I should have gone with my gut back in November when he as the professional had no questions for me or information to give me as a new business owner as to what I need to know or have prepared as a new business owner. I found all that out on my own and my new tax person said I have everything easy for them to just fill in their blanks and file."
