"Dr. Hudson is absolutely brilliant. I was at the hospital for a bad fall about 7 months ago. They told me I would need surgery for a ligament. Then I went to SLOCUM and they told me nothing was broken and I was fine. FINALLY- I had the esteemed privilege of seeing Dr. Hudson, she immediately was able to explain that I had a specific fracture, where, and without me even telling her, just from an xray knew exactly how I fell down, and where it hurt. She recommended physical therapy and scheduled me for a follow up. What a brilliant doctor! I am finally feeling like someone understands the “why” of the pain and how to address it. Go see this doctor if you can. The expertise is clear and she is amazing! I am so grateful I was able to get in with her and I see why she is in such high demand."

"I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Hudson and her team. Dr. Hudson is incredibly down to earth, intelligent, and she takes the time to get to know you as a person. She diagnoses and explains the treatment options thoroughly, ensuring that all questions are answered. I was always welcomed at the door and taken back for my appointments on time. I also really appreciate that she doesn't seem rushed to get out of the exam room to the next patient. Brendan, Dr. Hudson's assistant, is kind, smart, and helpful with questions. And, Hilary at the front is quick to help with appointment changes and billing questions. Aside from the practice itself, the surgery I received went very well. Dr. Hudson gave me clear expectations of both the surgery and the recovery. I felt well informed at post-op visits with how my recovery was going. It's amazing to not have the pain that I did previously. Thank you Dr. Hudson and team for a fantastic experience!"

"Unfortunately, I had an awful experience here. I'm allotting the two stars simply because Dr. Hudson herself is very personable and friendly. Otherwise, this would go as a 1 star review. Simply put, the office is overworked. You can't schedule an appointment for less than a month out. When you submit a request for an appointment through the portal you won't hear back. You'll have to call the office several times before someone actually answers the phone. There are no follow up appointments so, if you're like me and have never had to visit with a podiatrist and don't know how things should be healing post procedure, you'll need to call them repeatedly for a follow up appointment. I've never gone to a doctor and not had a follow up appointment scheduled right there on-site. Then you'll need to wait a month for that follow up appointment. After my follow up I was ghosted. I've also never been ghosted by a provider either. They told me they had to wait for my insurance to approve the procedure and it could be another month. When I tried to get a firmer answer they pushed me away and I haven't heard from them since. This was over a month and a half ago. I've since moved providers and had the issue taken care of (within a week of requesting an appointment) so all is well but people should know this practice is not worthy of the 5 star rating it has on Google."

"I'm Debi's husband, Dennis. Last year Dr. Hudson fixed a bunion and two hammer toes on my left foot and it turned out great. This past Sept she fixed a bunion and a hammer toe on my right foot that a Roseburg podiatrist basically waved a wand over and didn't fix ten years ago. There were also bones in the middle of my foot that go to the toes that were I guess I would say "bent". She also cut those and fixed those. She is a very smart person but she treats you like a equal, not a bit of arrogance about her. She listens to you and takes action. She's just a pleasure to deal with. All my appointments last year and this year have been prompt like no doctor I've ever been to. Within five minutes of my appointment I have always been shown to a room where one of her assistants get right to the business at hand and within five minutes Dr. Hudson comes in and does her thing. She runs a tight ship for herself and her staff and it shows. She obviously doesn't over book her patients where she would try to crowd too many people in a day like other doctors do. Thank you Dr. Hudson and staff for such great care and I'm glad I drive up from Roseburg for such good care."
