"I used to sing the praises of Dr. Burrell. Thought he was the best doctor I ever had. He listened to my problems and ran some tests and found I was low on testosterone. Over the course of 5 years he would run a battery of blood test, sell me natural products as well as testosterone and HGh. I always questioned why did my body stop making it on its own. I was in my mid 30s with no obvious answers. For years I had to get injections or take whatever random natural meds he suggested. He basically told me sometimes a body can stop making it and mentioned Joe Rogan as an example. I moved up to Vancouver and got a new doctor about 6 months ago. I had been off testosterone for 2022 due to affordability and talked to my new doctor about getting back on it. First question he asked, did you ever find out what caused you not to make it on your own, I told him what Dr. Burrell said and he told me “yea that’s not how this works there is always a reason and a man in his 30s shouldn’t just stop making it” He asked if I had my Prolactin levels ever checked. I did not know what this was. Looked through my old labs, this test was never done. Took the test my levels are through the roof. I get an MRI done. Guess what??? I have a tumor in my brain, been there for years and is the cause of my issues. For several months now I have been on an oral medication, I just received my new tests and my prolactin level is down and my testosterone for the first time is naturally in the green. I saw an endocrinologist and first thing he said was “looks like your new doctor ordered and did all the tests I would” and mentioned how common this is to check for. So for years I paid money and injected medication I didn’t need into my body, increasing my risk of cancer and other side effects, all while a tumor grew in my brain. I keep getting a $50 bill from April 2022 for the last vial of testosterone I bought. I have not and will not pay this. In fact you owe me money. I want all my years of payments back. Every penny for every blood test and medication and office visit I never needed. No one should be prescribing medication when they don’t follow the basic testing requirements that apparently is a well known step by any endocrinologist and even my PCP at Vancouver Clinic."
"We love canyon medical and highly recommend. We saw Dr. Renee Gorge and Dr. Emerald Mansfield, as well as Dr. Dewitt, all of whom were wonderful! Our birth experience was excellent and all we hoped it to be. Dr. Renee was kind and compassionate, she listened to all my preferences and respected my wishes, was never pushy when it came to our care. She’s amazing!! 10/10. So thankful we are able to continue care with canyon."
"I really enjoyed my experience with this medical center! I saw Dr Renee George primarily and she was very personable, never rushed appointments, and was always up front with any and all information regarding my care at the clinic. I have always wanted to have a tub birth and didnt believe it would be possible after my first. I was never pressured to do anything. Thay made it as calming and homey of an environment as possible and give you the space to rest after your birth. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because there was an issue with on of the midwives and my care. It was handled with grace and efficiency and immediately got me switched over to a more appropriate fit for my care. Highly recommend!!"
"As a fellow medical professional, we are especially picky about our health care team, especially for our newborn. We saw Dr. DeWitt for a frenectomy and it went super smoothly. Our daughter was having issues with latching while breastfeeding, and we have seem some noticeable improvements since the procedure. Dr. DeWitt was caring, patient, and informative, and treats with a really nice, calm yet confident demeanor. The clinic was flexible with scheduling as we needed to get in as soon as possible. Dr. DeWitt even gave us oral exercises to continue with our daughter over the coming weeks. I highly recommend Dr. DeWitt and Canyon Medical Center for their services, especially naturopathic baby/pediatric care."
"I absolutely love canyon medical center, I've been going here for over a year now, through my pregnancy, childbirth, PP, and now care for myself and my baby! All around 10 out of 10 experience. I was never pushed to do anything that wasn't necessary for me or my baby, I chose how I wanted to give birth, and have just had an all around amazing experience. I've seen Dr. Emerald Mansfield and Dr. Renee George, both mid wife's were amazing. The staff takes care of you, they know me when I go in and it feels personal rather than just another patient and I love that! I would 100% recommend to anyone whether it's your first child or 5th!"
