"Repeated no shows after confirming arrival, no call to tell you they are not coming and if they do say they are coming and then dont show up, they purposely dont answer the phone. I stupidly called them in another plumbing emergency when I couldnt find anyone a year after they had done this before. And to my "surprise" they did it again and I wasted all day waiting for a no show plumber when I have family coming to visit tomorrow. Dont waste your time."
"Would highly recommend Gary’s rooter and plumbing. They came to us quickly as we had to shut off our water do to a bad leak at an outside frost free spigot. They replaced it with a new one and restored out water. Very friendly and professional and prompt."
"BUYER BEWARE! Gary's was by far the worst choice that we have made with contracting services in town. We initially called Gary's Rooter & Plumbing to assist with a minor leak on our toilet at our home. Jeremy (Gary's son) arrived to our home and quoted us $200 for materials and 1 hour of labor ($142 per hour). He then offered to reinstall a new toilet for the same price. I confirmed that we would only move forward if the cost was the same to which he agreed. Upon installation of the toilet, we received an "invoice" for $627. We then spoke with Mary (Gary's Wife) regarding the 80% increase in cost and in the middle of our conversation Gary took the phone and began cursing us out saying "You better pay me my F$%#ing money or else" "If you don't pay me right now, I'll take you to F$%#ing court". Keep in mind that the "invoice" which was a hand written note on a restaurant ticket showed no terms and this conversation took place 4 days after completed service. If you do have the misfortune of working with this company, I highly recommend requesting a formal quotation and be prepared to receive the brunt of Gary's anger management issues and intimidation tactics if the invoice is significantly higher than quoted."
"I called July 1st to see if they have any open to come fix a pipe and they were the only one that had opening and the lady on the phone they would be at our house bewteen 4-6 pm. but around 1:30 they called and said they would be here in 30 minute. Jeremy and Josh came and had our pipe and new outside faucet fixed in 30 minutes and my husband ask what he could do to fix another probably and they went ahead and fixed.. we talked about need an access door and they cut the hole to the right size. they we really friendly. We would use them again in a heart beat. Thanks again Jeremy and Josh for helping us out."
"We called Mary to replace our faulty hosebib. We had nothing but problems from the start. Scheduling was a nightmare! We manage the property from 2.5 hours away, so meeting in person was out of the question. It was pretty straight forward to get into the house. Mary just had us at the bottom of the list and could not give me a concrete date and time for installation Once on site they replaced the hosebib. I requested to have the waterlines under the house insulated (They were not). I asked for photos of the completed work so I could see (none were sent). She was very speedy on the invoice, which I paid with Credit Card. After I was finally able to get out to the property, I looked over the installation. No insulation was put around the pipes like I asked. The hosebib was not mounted flush to the wall. The hosebib was not secured in any shape or form. I slid the plastic gromet back in order to hide the gaping hole that went into the crawl space. When I reached out to Mary. I got a response after the 4-5 try. They said they would have it fixed in 3 days. It was not. I have not heard back from them in any way shape or form. I ended up having to dispute the charge on my credit card, and now have to figure out how to fix this situation that should have been done right from the start. They charged me $300 to replace the hosebib, and this is the result. STAY AWAY!!! If i could have given them 0 stars I would have. I truly hate having to give a bad review on a small business, because when you are trying to grow, customer satisfaction is key. I should have read the previous reviews and not even bothered."
