"Doug was wonderful! Fixed our freezer perfectly. He has been out before and is professional, friendly and efficient every time! Thank you again to Doug and Appliance Refrigeration Hospital for always giving such professional and reliable service!"
"Maytag scheduled an appointment with Appliance Hospital for a warranty repair on the light switch for my refrigerator. They did the job stoically and quickly. When the part broke again I called them again to do the repair. After waiting for 2 weeks for the appointment the technician arrived without the part to do the repair. I asked the technician to call when he got the part. What I received was an email for me to call and reschedule the appointment. These events have left me feeling disappointed and have caused a level of distrust in any future use of Appliance Hospital. REBUTTAL to Appliance Hospital's reply on my Google review... Appliance Hospital's reply to my review is absolutely 100% incorrect. First off getting an appointment wasn't an issue. At the time of scheduling I was told I would get a call if the part didn't come in. I never received an email or phone call stating anything about my part having arrived or not. Next, I have zero idea what a "mullion strip" is. I wanted to have a simple refrigerator light switch installed. This is a part you had previously installed under warranty in October 2023. I made you award of that fact at the time of scheduling. I haven't a clue why you would feel the need to "elected to diagnose the issue first". It's a light switch. What more is there to "diagnose"? The light either comes on when you open the refrigerator or it doesn't. As for apologizing for the delay, what delay? My appointment was before the weather issues. With all you are saying in your reply I am wondering if you have me mixed up with another person needing repair as it absolutely doesn't NOT sound one bit correct. That gives me another reason to be concerned. If you can't keep your customers and their repair needs correct on a review what happens when you are trying to repair their appliance? Bottom line you never let me know the part didn't arrive, your tech was not communicative and he was stoic and come appointment day you STILL didn't arrive with the part. I stand on my original review rating of a 3 and I guess that is being generous per what my roommate, who witnessed everything, thinks. Seems I am not far off when you have a Google rating of 3.7. I will not be using Appliance Hospital ever again and I will make sure to share my experience with Maytag who is responsible for connecting us in the first place with the warranty repair."
"Doug was great! Overall prompt communication and he even worked to get me in ahead of schedule. Really appreciated his energy and friendly personality! Will keep referring Appliance Hospital to my clients as well."
"I set up an appointment through maytag warranty service, online, for today 1/8. Appointment time that I was given was 8am-4pm. When I called to see if they could give me a tighter window, I was informed that they would not be coming out today. Account to Kylee they don't work on the weekend so these appointments are essentially worthless to setup. “We don't work weekends”, so they couldn’t have possibly scheduled this appointment. Not my fault but somehow it’s my problem and therefore I’m the problem, is the message I received. It would seem to me that this is something that probably happens all the time with them, given those of us that select a Monday am appointment from the weekend. It would be good practice to ensure this is not a repetitive issue for customers that are going to be spending $119 for your visit. Customer service is dead! Since this is the case, they should be the ones to initiate contact with customers in this situation, instead of waiting for them to contact you. The customer has no knowledge of your system nor the issues with it. No respect for the customer, No ownership of the problem. Fix the issue appliance hospital, stop making your problem your client’s problem. The consumer has nothing to do with your reoccurring glitches. Every time that appointment is selected the customer gets this response?? Doesn’t seem very respectful of peoples time. Appointment was reset for Thursday morning. Why do I feel regret already? Furthermore, when we had them out here last time, my wife mentioned the issue to the service tech. He did not address the problem as my wife had requested. Take care of the issue instead of pushing blame around."
"We contacted Appliance Hospital because they are a factory authorized Sub-Zero refrigerator service provider. Their service tech, Doug Watts, quickly diagnosed the problem and provided a prompt and cost effective solution. He was able to quickly get the frig back in working order. We were very pleased with the service Doug provided. We highly recommend Appliance Hospital for their high quality service."
