"On November 8 We called Pepe Le Phew to clean a drain for us. Mitch showed up about a half hour late and I showed him where both bathrooms and the outside cleanouts were. He proceeded to remove the toilet in the inside bathroom and snake the drain to no avail. He decided to use a residential bladder type clog buster that did nothing but flood our shop with toilet water, TP and fecal matter. He then moved outside to snake from the outside cleanouts while laying down. The snake went into the drain on our outside accessible bathroom and broke the commercial grade toilet that we had recently installed. When I brought to his attention that he broke our toilet it didn’t seem to matter to him. He went to Home Depot and picked us up another toilet. When he returned, he still couldn’t clear the clog and left saying he would be back in the early morning, leaving us with no bathrooms. We didn’t see him until after noon the next day. He worked a couple hours trying to clear the clog. He then installed both toilets, the shop toilet and the one from HD and said we are good to go. When I went out to the shop to check the work he had done, he had not cleaned up anything and there was trash and a broken toilet in our parking lot, and nothing cleaned up in either bathroom. Pics to follow! The next day (Friday) one of our tenants called me and asked why the toilet in the outer bathroom was overflowing. He said the toilet was running constantly and he had turned off the water for us. We had to hire another company to clear the drain. We also hired a plumber to replace the toilet like the one he blew up. We also spent 6 hours cleaning up the mess he made in our shop, and we still need to clean and repaint the bathroom walls. When we hired him, we had a comfort height elongated toilet, a clean shop, clean bathroom walls, and a clogged drain. When he left we had none of those things, except we did still have a clogged drain. The “$200 American Standard toilet” he bought is listed at Home Depot for $119. The one he broke is listed at $441.87. According to the Oregon Secretary of state he registered as the new owner of the business on April 21, 2023, which would indicate he has only been doing this for a little over 6 months. The prior owner first registered it in 2010. According to the State, he has no license to do plumbing. No plumbing contractors license and it is not legal for him to install toilets."
