"In late June 2023, my home warranty company sent Oregon Environmental Service (OES) to evaluate a water heater that was not getting hot. They completed their evaluation and determined my water heater needed to be replaced. They took pictures and notes and advised they would submit to my home warranty company within a day or so and then call me back to schedule the replacement. I did not hear from them after that and my home warranty company closed the claim. Once I realized the claim was closed and spoke with the home warranty company, I called OES to figure out what was going on and no one seemed to know what happened to my claim. However, I was assured that if I submit another claim to the Home Warranty company, they would get assigned to it and essentially pick up where we left off and re-submit the pictures and evaluation to the home warranty company by the end of that week (9/15/2023). On 9/18, I received notification that the home warranty company was looking for a new technician as OES declined the job due to "potential serious injury/death". This struck me as odd - no concerns were voiced when they initially came out and evaluated the water heater and a water heater replacement is something I would assume they do frequently. I assumed the warranty company just didnt want to pay and was giving me the run around because just days before OES told me they were going to re-submit the pictures/data, so I called OES back to clarify what was going on because they did not tell me they were declining the job. I was told by OES that the plumber declined the job because he did not feel safe replacing the gas water heater that was "down a flight of stairs in a pit in a basement with ventilation concerns". I dont even have a basement and there is a door with direct access/ventilation to our deck outside under 10 feet from the water heater! In fact, we discussed using that door during the replacement. I was then told they were going to double check with the plumber, because perhaps he got the homes confused and that they would give me a call back once they talked to the plumber. That was nearly a week ago and I havent heard from them. Obviously, I would not recommend them. They were not forthcoming regarding concerns with the job, led me along thinking they were trying to help and it was the home warranty that was causing the issue, and did not proactively keep me up to date/were not honest with what was going on with the claim resulting in me spinning my wheels for two months trying to get this resolved."

"The techs ( Blake and Isaiah)were extremely nice when they came to fix my garbage disposal and my home warranty had sent an email they were suppose to fix something else and they never showed and when I called to enquire since I never got a call about them rescheduling, the owner was extremely rude when I was trying to explain to her that I had called several times. She yelled “ don’t yell at me, I am not in the mood for this” and she hung up. I called back twice and and she didn’t answer until I called with a different number. She was still rude and so mean. Horrible!!!! So disappointed!!!"
