"Kiowa Fitness is a unique gym and community. At first thought, I was so nervous to try this type of workout. I don’t think I ever would have considered it if the owner Shane had not followed up with me as much as he did. He encouraged to give it a shot and I could not be more glad I did. I worked with a personal trainer for the first time ever, which I recommend every one do at least once! And then jumped into group classes and really enjoyed it! There are all types of people at Kiowa and I felt very welcomed. I felt like I could start with what was comfortable to me and I’m really excited to see myself grow. "Don't be afraid of being a beginner at CrossFit Kiowa in Independence OR! I started working out at CrossFit Kiowa about two months ago with no weightlifting experience or any gym experience at all. The workouts are tough and will challenge you, but this is the place to be if you want to feel supported and proud of the progress you make week to week. The coach, Shane Rider, will make sure you are doing the exercises using proper technique and is a great motivator. Joining this box is really one of the best decisions I have made and I feel a sense of accomplishment after each workout.
