"I went there with my friend visiting my hometown and love every bit of it, the riders and parents are all part of a closely knit community, my friends horse she rides, Flash, is amazingly taken care of like rest of the horses there. Joanne made feel welcomed and I saw her skill as a trainer firsthand. Because of this, I recommend this barn to everyone."

"While visiting my sister in Oregon, we had the opportunity to go for a lovely trail ride up at  Skyline Equestrian Center. I hadn't been on a horse in a while and I honestly started looking up barns near my home once we returned from the barn. The drive to the barn is gorgeous with views overlooking the city and valleys.  Once you reach the barn, every direction you turn is a beautiful view. The owner and the barn manager came out to greet us and provided us with a quick tour, a cold beverage and introduced us to the animals. They helped and educated me as we tacked up Rio, who I would be riding on the trail. What a great and gentile ride! He is a big beauty and took excellent care of me out on the trail. The three of us (the barn manager, my sister and myself) went out and explored the fun trails and surrounding lands around the barn. Including their impressive cross country course! It was one of the highlights of my trip and it couldn't have been more pleasant. Thank you SEQ, I'll be back!"

"Skyline Equestrian is great facility, with excellent school horses and knowledgeable instructors. My daughter started riding formally up here 5 years ago and went from cantering on a lunge line to now jumping 2'3". They provide a fun and relaxed learning environment and we have always felt very welcome here. I would highly recommend!"

"We set up a toddler lesson with Joanne for our 3-year old's birthday. Joanne was very accommodating to our requests, and worked to fit us in to their schedule. Our experience on-site was wonderful. Our boys had a great time grooming and riding the horse, "Monkey". Joanne showed her skills with kids in how she interacted with our boys and assisted with handling the challenges of a 3-year old's personality. It was a great experience."

They are not Stuck up Snobs, the trainer Joanne Emerson Gives instruction Very well, the have many school horses, from beginners to advanced, The students, like me, learn to jump, in a careful manner, safety is their first concern. This is one out of the 3 best barns I have been to in my life! If you are looking for a good barn to ride or board at this is the best place ever! They have acres of trails and a heated upstairs, a indoor arena and lot's of pastures. Joanne Emerson is the trainer there and Joni Feryn is the owner."
