"I’ll start by saying that this doctor is a waste of time. Incredibly insensitive, demeaning and rude. My son was diagnosed with a rare form of muscular dystrophy in July. After about 4.5 months of fighting with his dads insurance to get the treatment he was eligible to get however, in the end his dads insurance wouldn’t cover it. So we switched it Kaiser because I’ve had great luck with them for myself. Part of jumping through the hoops in order to get Kaiser to approve the treatment was getting him a new primary doctor. She was the soonest we could get him in (we were working with very limited time due to FDA regulations). She was HORRIBLE. I have never been so angry at a doctor. She was more concerned about his eyes rather than the genetic disease he has that will put him in a wheel chair by age 10, on ventilator by age 15-20 and end of life is somewhere between 22-30. She told us not to have any hope that our son would get approved for his treatment. Among putting my son in danger because I told her I would like to speak with his 2 neurologists at OHSU before doing any vaccines to make sure that wouldn’t affected him getting the treatment. I walked out. She was heartless and cold. I would not bring your child to someone like that."

"She was very condescending, spent the entire appointment purposely not hearing me and insulting my parenting. We scheduled another appointment with our regular pediatrician who listened to and addressed my concerns, the ones in which Dr Mehta said I was being dramatic about. Bedside manner is lacking, including being rude to my 8 year old. Which is even worse, being a pediatrician and all."

"We visited Dr Bina Mehta today for our kid’s wellness Visit. She is such a great doctor, she is very friendly and takes good care of my daughter and also ask all relevant questions related to kid’s growth parameters. We have been visiting Dr Mehta for the last 3 years and the visits have always been a great experience. Thank you so much Dr Mehta."

"Today is the 3rd time we saw Dr. Mehta in a last minute care situation which solidifies my comments about her being VERY condescending when she speaks. She is not our primary car provider. Dr. Mehta is not friendly to me, or my child when she speaks. She is robotic and has horrible bedside manner. If you enjoy being talked down to, then you would love her. If you have an intelligent mind who has great questions, be ready to be put down. Bottom line- if you need a quick appointment to get an rx like amoxicillin then she’s perfect. If you are looking for a long term primary care physician, absolutely do not consider her."
