"Let me start by saying Dr. Cooley is a good person, humorous, upbeat, and energetic. She is patient and kind with children. We had originally selected another doctor in the practice for our children, however this doctor didn't return after a life event. So we've been working with Dr. Cooley for a while now. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this practice. We have been cancelled on multiple times (more than I can count) with little communication. There seems to be an issue with letting us know that the doctor isn't in, which has resulted in schedules being re-arranged, missing school, etc. all to walk into the office to be told the doctor isn't there. I have asked multiple times that if the staff leaves a message on my phone, to ALSO please call my partner so that there's additional communication (maybe my phone just doesn't like them because I get a message from them after the fact, sometimes days after the fact). They have never once called my partner. And unfortunately, the nurse at this office is cold, has little to no bedside manner with our kiddos or us, and can be downright rude. A sticker or cheap plastic toy (which we usually decline or just throw away) will not fix the experience my kids have had with her. Recently, I called to request an early appointment as a follow up for my child who had gotten sick over the weekend. I had called the advice nurse Sunday night and they recommended getting my child in to see the doctor as soon as possible on Monday. When I spoke to this nurse, I even stated "the earliest you've got", and she tried to schedule my child for 4:15pm. When I asked about anything earlier, she gave me a reason I didn't understand, saying that he has a fever. I REITERATED to her that he did NOT currently have one and hadn't had a fever in over 48 hours and asked again about an earlier appointment. She then offered a 10am appointment. Like why couldn't you lead with that when I asked for your earliest appointment?? I've read past reviews from a couple years ago and all of my issues, poor communication, multiple cancelations, and a rude nurse, are a common theme. We're moving on and couldn't be more ready."
"My daughter has been seeing doctor Cooley for about 2 years. Dr. Cooley is just amazing, she’s so kind and patient with my daughter. I always feel like I can ask any questions and feel confident with Dr. Cooley’s answers."
"We've been taking our kiddos here since they were born. Only pediatrician we've seen and only one we'll go to. From day 1, over 13 years ago, Dr Cooley has been professional, kind, attentive, caring and sensitive to all our concerns and questions over the years. Is willing to really listen, very thorough, and has never made us feel rushed at any appointment. Would highly recommend her and her clinic to any friend or family member looking for a pediatrician!"
"Dr. Cooley is the best! She has been our 4 year old’s doctor since he was a baby. She is always so patient, thorough, friendly, and knowledgeable. Everyone is so nice that our son likes going to the doctor. The front office staff is great about answering our questions and getting us an appointment when needed."
"Myself and my kiddos really enjoy and respect Dr. Cooley. She is knowledgeable, patient, and kind. All things that are important to me in a pediatrician. However- the staff is unbearable. My kiddos went in for their vaccinations and the woman administering lacked any kind of patience or kindness towards children. I thought maybe I'd chalk it up to her having a bad day, but we have since returned and received the same treatment. The front desk receptionist has been rude on multiple occasions to myself and husband, in person and over the phone. Lastly, we decided to move to a new practice and l am still awaiting our medical records that were originally requested on January 27th. Until the office turns things around with their staff I would absolutely not recommend this office."
