Dr. Joseph Elia

Dr. Joseph Elia is a board-certified pediatrician located at 7213 Southwest Hazel Fern Road in Portland, Oregon. He completed his MD at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his pediatric internship and residency at Oregon Health & Science University. Dr. Elia believes in working with families as a team to raise healthy children and values clear communication in a warm and caring environment.

Originally from Scotland and North Carolina, Dr. Elia now calls Portland home where he lives with his wife, two daughters, cat, and dog. In addition to his work at Metropolitan Pediatrics, he also sees hospitalized patients at Randall Children's Hospital. Dr. Elia enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, reading science fiction, and playing board games.

Dr. Elia sees patients at various locations in the Portland area, including Beaverton, Gresham, Happy Valley, and NW Portland. He is affiliated with Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center, Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, and Randall Children's Hospital at Legacy Emanuel. With a passion for caring for others, Dr. Elia is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to his patients.
