"Ross is a lovely human being. He had tremendous energy and great spirit. He is as generous with his time and attention as anyone I've ever met. He is precious."
"Dr. Schwarz has been an excellent Primary Care Physician for me for a number of years at OMG. He is personable and extremely knowledgeable in many areas of medicine and has helped me remain healthy and fit. He has been on-par or even exceeded the other great doctors I've had at OMG!"
"Dr Schwarz, Thank you for all the kindness and consideration you have provided over the last decade with our parents, Richard and Shirley. We appreciate how you helped us deal with the death of our father. The way you helped him at the end was very kind. You have been thoughtful and graceful in your medical decisions. You put up with 3 people bringing dad in to see you and all of our questions and as george calls it my "chicken scratching" ;) over their health. My dad adored you and that is saying a lot because he refused doctors for years. My mom adores you and trusts you very much. You have made a huge difference in their quality of life not just quantity of life. Thank you. Angi"
"My first and only and last visit with Dr. Schwarz was disappointing. I had chose Dr. Schwarz as my new PCP because he is a doc that had been practicing for a long time and would be experienced. I came in hoping that there would be a thorough assessment and evaluation of my concern, and instead of taking a thorough look at the area of concern and actually assessing it by touch, I was told it was XYZ, he was so confident that it was that. I’m no doctor but if it was what he said it was, I would have been in quite a bit of pain, but I wasn’t at all. He didn’t even exam with his hands, so how he came to that conclusion was beyond me. He sent me for an X-ray right after and not surprisingly, the X-ray showed the area of concern to be normal. I went to see my chiropractor the next day to assess the area of concern, he confirmed that my bones look normal and nothing is out of place. I knew something wasn’t quite right with the area of concern. 5 weeks later, I saw my OBGYN for my annual exam, I asked her to take a look at the area of concern. She asked me questions, she put her hands on that area to assess it thoroughly, told me what she thinks it might be, then referred me for an ultrasound, and confirmed it was what she thought it was. At the time of her assessing it at that OB appointment, I was so relieved and grateful that she took real time and effort to be a real doctor and provided the care I was hoping for. I was realistic, I knew she wouldn’t be able to confirm right then and there, but I was in tears because I was just so thankful she listened and cared and provided a plan of action for next steps. I have a plan now for what’s next to take care of what I had concerns with. My OBGYN is one of the best. She’s one of the really good ones. It’s unfortunate that finding a really good PCP is like finding a needle in a haystack. I’m just extremely disappointed that this is the kind of “care” I paid for with my experience at Oregon Medical Group w/ Schwarz. I really felt like just another number, another visit to get done quickly so they can get on with their day, an easy peasy paycheck. That may not have been the intentions but honestly, that’s what it is perceived as. Doctors, please do better. Update 10/18/2023: I was able to be seen by a general surgeon that my OB referred me to and she removed the growth in my supraclavical on June 2023. It went to pathology and it was benign, which I am extremely grateful and relieved about."
"Thank you Dr. Scbwarz for your compassion and humility during my mother's hospice ordeal."
