"Doesn’t listen, downplays pain. Insults patients and doesn’t seem to care. My dear grandmother Has had osteoporosis for years, and the self proclaimed tough old broad really does have knee pain when walking more than 30 feet on some days. Dr. Migchelbrink, every single appointment, has downplayed questions, brushed off the pain comments, and has made my grandma who is the most social, cheerful, doctor friendly person alive, actually dread this woman’s office. There’s a special shame for doctors who belittle their patients. Especially older folks. They don’t need pitied or shamed, they need love and a kind concerned ear. Once a week or less, grandma wants to park closer to the door til she can rest inside the supermarket, due to knee pain. Doc said that she hates parking passes because they’re “fraudulent”. I’m looking elsewhere for actual care for our family."
