"Find a different practice to have your breast cancer surgery. My mother had a double mastectomy in September 2023. While they may have done a technically fine job at removing her breasts, every other aspect of working with this practice left a lot to be desired. Communication is the biggest problem. The post op care instructions given by the doctor at pre-op was different from what the nurse said over the phone pre-op, was different from what the paperwork that went home after surgery, was different from what the nurse said over the phone post-op, was different from what the doctor said at post-op. Multiple days to return calls. To make it even worse, the surgeon and nurse became very disrespectful to my mother in the weeks after surgery, as far as to harshly say her name in order to interrupt her. My mother had them release her from their care and is moving to another practice to finish her post-op care and beyond."
