Reviews
"After one month of listening with the Safe and Sound protocol our family dynamic is calmer. This is one of the small changes we have made and we are continuing .... grateful."
"Horribly fake people. They should perhaps try the therapy for themselves because at least two of the three was dysfunctional with me. Not trustworthy at all. ***. Let me go?? ~to try and discredit me. You wanted to "rehire" me but for the review you stated. Stop. Or, I will spill the tea. I spoke the truth in my review."
"-Not ADA compliant or accessible (no elevator to second floor offices, auxiliary location provided did not have equal resources and was also not ADA compliant. -Communication with providers is difficult (multiple rounds of phone tag, told to use nonfunctioning online portal) -Not trauma informed at all, triggering and poorly planned intake process (I have never had another trauma therapist ask me to answer the ACES questionnaire on paper on my own and also answer detailed trauma history questions before even seeing a human being) Having just had an intake at the Portland Therapy Project which was lovely and incredibly accessible and trauma informed I am confused and upset that I put up with Portland Neurofeedback for so long. Would strongly recommend anyone with disabilities or trauma history to avoid portland neurofeedback. giving 2 stars because they were polite when I brought up my concerns and attempted to find me a different therapist who would work, however I found my new therapist by doing research on my own, they were unable to find a provider who matched my needs."
"Neurofeedback has saved my life! There's a reason your standard health insurance won't cover it, because IT WORKS! Everyone at the front office is super supportive too. Rachel, Taylor, and Catherine are authentic and understand what you're going through. They're all super knowledgeable and care about you experience. I truly appreciate their support in healing my brain."
"This is my second experience with neurofeedback. My experience with another provider yielded good results. However, I was immediately impressed by the number of therapies offered by Portland Neurofeedback, their expertise in how to maintain the good results, their caring and efficiency. All the staff are great. Rachel does a particularly good job of explaining the therapy I am doing that day and expressing empathy. I did not do neurofeedback for the depressing headaches, anxiety and fatigue I experienced after Covid but I am over the moon that after only 6 sessions, they are gone. Thank you to all the good people at Portland Neurofeedback who dedicate their lives to helping people like me be the healthiest version of themselves."
