Reviews of Community Counseling Solutions - Hermiston
"Each counselor I’ve had this far does not seem like they know what they are doing. They sit back, and validate feelings only. I can honestly say the progress I have made is solely from self help books and videos online. The majority of reception and medical assistants are unprofessional and rude. They are great at making you feel like a complete inconvenience. It’s honestly sad that those of us on state insurance can’t receive good quality mental health care. I gave it a 2 star because of the therapists I’ve been seeing or had encounters with. They seem very well educated and have given me the best advice vs my counselors. I get the feeling that they do care about my overall wellbeing. I hope that others have a better experience than I do."
"I feel like you get what you put into it. My counselor that I see is an amazing counselor and person. I'm looking forward to meeting my new counselor in a couple weeks since mine is going on maternity leave. The staff is friendly and I feel genuinely cared about."
"First counselor was an L. He told me my depression doesn’t exist anymore because I have him. He said I didn’t have to exercise for my mental health because I’m already skinny. This was one appointment and then I asked for a new one Second counselor was also an L. She had a great reviews allegedly. The entire appointment she talked about herself. Very Mundane things too. I waited six months for an appointment just to have her go off about why she’d rather shop at Fred Meyer’s and do grocery pickup. How is the counselor going to talk 95% of MY appointment. I came here to get help. I feel terrible for anyone coming for help that gets these clowns. I was an RA in college and was a better counselor than these people will ever be."
"Would rate 0 stars if I could. Please don’t waste your time or energy. They are overbooked, unhelpful, zero compassion, and don’t even bother to call or email you back. They cancelled 30 min before my appointment, and then claimed my following appointment wasn’t in their computer. They can only offer 30 min sessions once or twice a month, but they’re booked out so far you can get in anyway. Just please look elsewhere for help."
"My first visit was nothing to boast about. The atmosphere isn’t as welcoming and comforting as you would want it to be. My counselor asked me questions out of a book or the computer and made no real attempt to connect to me or my responses to his questions. I didn’t feel heard or that there was any real intent on wanting to focus on getting me the help I needed. He was just like, “Oh, you’re stressed? Here’s a bunch of papers stapled together that talk about what you already know.” The whole experience just left me feeling disappointed. He didn’t even introduce himself when he first came out to the lobby to meet me, so I didn’t even know the guys name. And his office felt like just that…an office. There was nothing even remotely comforting or welcoming about that room. I wouldn’t recommend this place for the mere fact that you’re not going to come out of there feeling like you took a step in the right direction."
