"Dr. Mauro has absolutely gone above and beyond for me! I became a patient right after the pandemic started and have been holding on to her ever since (I looked for a good fit for 2.5 years). Not only is Dr. Mauro an excellent listener but she has an amazing recall and always remembers the stuff I tell her in prior sessions. She is the sweetest, kindest, and realest counselor I have ever had. She is super flexible with my schedule. She assigns me small tasks (like HW) to work on outside of our sessions, which have been were some of my biggest breakthroughs have happened. She also is not afraid to give me positive feedback about my own faults and behavior patterns and ways I can improve. After three years of counseling I am so relieved to say I think it is time to let her go so she can open her books to more patients. THANK YOU JENNY, YOU ARE A LITERAL ANGEL. "Pretty disappointed! I called 7 months ago to schedule an appointment. Chelsea said they were backed up 4-5 months. I put my name down on a waiting list. And mind you, this is a pretty simple encounter, nothing of great concern. I thought perhaps they're setting me on the back burner for more needed patients. Nope, low and behold, my co-worker(we're very close) said they only waited about a month for a local counselor. They have 37 counselors working there and they have NO openings for...well...going on 8 months now? Yet, he got right in? This place is sketchy and they're rude, very condescending when you speak with them. They NEVER answer their phones, they pick and choose who they want to see. So, a mental health practice.....and they treat people like this? WOW!! No one in town has a 6 month wait with THIRTY SEVEN counselors on their payroll."
