"Owner, David Duncan owes over $329,000 in back taxes,. He's been stealing from Oregonians and our tax funded programs for decades. Look up Oregon revenue delinquent taxes. Shameful how he took from the local community"
"We purchased a home from Mid Oregon Builders in early October and have had many issues. They haven’t fulfilled our contract and it seems as though they aren’t planning on it. We had a large repair addendum and added items such as a fence, railings down our front steps, and a few other things to our contract. We paid over asking price for these additions. They still need to purchase and install a wrought iron fence, purchase and install wrought iron railings down the front steps, repair/replace the broken tile and grout that was installed incorrectly in all of the bathrooms, replace multiple gutters and downspouts that they damaged, fix the drainage in the back and resolve the standing water and mold in our crawl space, repair a crushed curb and more. They also owe us landscaping money and continue to make excuses why they can’t get the check to us. We have been in constant contact with them since move in and keep receiving false promises or plan lies. We have started the process of filing a complaint with the Oregon contractors construction board. We also have started the arbitration process with an attorney as well. If you sign a contract with them have everything done prior to closing."
"I walked through a few houses an have never seen such a poor excuse for a frame job in my life"
"Been watching this company fiddle-fart around trying to build five 3 bedroom houses on my street. It's been near a year since breaking ground, and what a riot! I've never seen such incompetency. One has been finished and sold, two are red tagged, and one customer has been 3 months in the waiting. I feel empathy for anyone dealing with this! Clearly a perfect example of the wealthy taking advantage of blue collar Americans!!!"
"We purchased a house for mid Oregon builders a little over a year ago. We had a pretty lengthy six-month punchlist. They have yet to complete that punchlist. As of today we can only use one of our two showers. We can only use one of our two bathroom sinks. The brick façade on our house is falling off of the house. There are two closets we cannot use because the insulation is falling through the roof every time we open the door. There are screws in the cabinets that need to be tightened up. Our showerheads are not secured all the way to the wall. If we try to run a bath the valve has not worked so it out runs half the shower and the bath. We have been asking them consistently for more than nine months to come and fix the punch list, but they have yet to respond or send somebody to do the work. Outside the punch list we’ve enjoyed everything in this house. It is well constructed we have no complaints over the structure we have not seen anything that would lead us to believe that this house is poorly constructed, but the finishing work needs a little more attention. And they need to abide by their own timelines. This appears to be a pattern and all of their complexes. There are several homeowners and Sutherland that are still waiting for their punchlist to be completed as well. If you are looking to buy a home for mid Oregon builders I would highly recommend getting an inspection and negotiating on the front end as opposed to paying and biting by their request for a six-month punchlist."
