"I have just recently started massage treatments after an automobile accident that occured 6 months ago. I had already finished my PT, but was having difficulty finding an LMT who could work around my availability. Case in point,; I had already felt like I was healed from this accident, after rebuilding strength and doing circuit training with my PT for months. However, on my first session with Allison, within the first 5 minutes of massage, she uncovered that my neck and back musculature had essentially healed in a tilted/contorted resting position. After performing, what I can only describe as some traction massages at the base of my neck //upper vertebrae, the all too familiar nerve pain returned. This is NOT a bad thing. By exasperating my original injury, we uncovered the systemic issues I have experienced from my body healing with a posture far from neutral. I look forward to continuing my treatment with her, as I have absolute trust she will get my body back to normal, and living pain free."
