"Dr. Jooya is a truly special doctor. From my first meeting with her, she put me at ease-which is not easy, as I am a wee bit high strung! She was so kind, gentle, and accommodating in her approach and explanations. I got to enjoy the ‘full’ experience from her, as she did my surgery, as well- a hysterectomy and removal of a gigantic fibroid/alien in my uterus. While I was not awake for that part, the evidence of her beautiful work remains. Her incision and stitches were so well made, and well placed, that my tummy (and the tattoo on it) look great. Everything is nicely lined up. She clearly took extra time to make it look as nice as possible, which I so appreciate. Her bedside manner was so kind and supportive. I just really couldn’t say enough about how great this whole experience was. Getting one’s first surgery-and having the looming threat of cancer-is no picnic for anyone, but she really, really soothed and had an empathy and understanding that I really needed. Dr. Jooya is the very definition of ‘healer’. I am so, so grateful for the front desk sending me to her, when I asked for a ‘kind and gentle lady, who would be sweet to my terrified self.’ I definitely won the lottery that day!
