"I started learning piano at 8 years old and Mr. Nick was my first teacher. I then went on to learn for 10 years and completed level 10 of the OMTA syllabus exams. I learned a lot about music and theory from Mr. Nick, but more than that he taught me a lot of life lessons that I took with me throughout my life. The importance of practice and creating a love for music are two main lessons I took with me. However, the biggest lesson I learned from Mr. Nick was the importance of passion. I remember a specific recital where the piano was shaking during his performance and it left the room speechless. It made me realize that most of music is rooted in purpose and passion.
